Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council - This is the Ski Council that the Lafayette Ski Club belongs to and it has links or info about other clubs in the Midwest.  It also has links to us and will list the trips for each member club by date and location. This is a link to Ski Dazzle.  Ski Dazzle owns and runs the Chicago Ski Show.  I met one of the two owners last year and sent her some emails to improve the show.  They were very good at returning emails and they were really receptive to my ideas.   Really nice people.  The Chicago Ski Show is really great with the Ski Swap meet where you can get some killer deals and see lots of ski shops from the Chicago area.  They also run a nice auction at the ski show where you can get some great deals.  Last year I won two five day lift tickets to Killington that Jen and I will be using next week.  Most all of the displays have some type of give away at the ski show.

A guide to America’s Best Bootfitters.  Only the best bootfitters attend Master Fit clinics and go through the extensive training program to become certified bootfitters.  This site will guide you to a shop that is certified and fit you properly for your boots.

www.lidsonkids.org    It is a website that promotes using ski helmets (Brain Buckets) for children to prevent injuries.  It is a good source for all of us to research helmets.
