This is a forum for talking about all things skiing.  I visit the site ten or twelve times each week. I post as Ty Webb. Steve Kelley also posts on here as Flopping Carp.

This is the site for the most current Warren Miller ski movie.  It lists info all about the movie, where it will be shown, who is in it, where it is shot, and other general info. 

Sounds like the last site but not the same at all.  It is a link to all items that are Warren Miller.  His books, his movies on VHS and DVD, vintage ski items, and his art work.  Just a fun site if you are into the ski culture.

Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council - This is the Ski Council that the Lafayette Ski Club belongs to and it has links or info about other clubs in the Midwest.  It also has links to us and will list the trips for each member club by date and location. It will also link to other Ski Councils across the U.S.

This is the National Ski Federation; they are an association of Ski Councils.  This link could be very helpful for the LSC Board, Trip Leaders, and other persons involved in the future of our Club. 

This is the website of the Florida Ski Council but they have a link for clubs all across the U.S. including us.  I signed us up with them and they request a link to them to keep us on their link. 

This is another good site for all things skiing.  It has really good information about ski industry news, ski gear, ski instruction, and general ski related news.  The site is run by the Ski Industry Association.

This site is also run by the Ski Industry Association but it is geared towards kids and young teens.  Nice link for our younger members.

Another Ski Industry Association site, this site has more information about skiing and industry news.  Lots of good info for new skiers and boarders in this site.  It also has a link to ski clubs including the Lafayette Ski Club.

This site is for the ladies!  This site is from the Jeannie Thoren who is the most noted guru/instructor on women’s skiing and ski runs clinics for women all over the U.S.  Great site for all of the ladies!

Another site just for the ladies. Kim Reichhelm runs camps and clinics just for women.  Two members of our club have gone to one of these camps and raved about it.

A site that has lots of ski industry news.  Also has forums that are quite interesting and gives up to date information on new snowfall at the ski resorts.

This is one of the best resort guides that I can find.  Has lots of information about the hill, the trails, maps, lodging, dining and other travel information.  This also has a resort finder to help you pick the place that is best for you. 

This is the site for Ski Industry professionals.  It can be a really good site for gear geeks, ski club leadership, and ski geeks like me!  It has a link to Project Kids, which is an industry marketing project to get children into the sport of skiing. 

This is another nice site for ski freaks.  There is a good forum for posting questions and thoughts about skiing and some other nice stuff for the ladies.

This is a link to Ski Dazzle.  Ski Dazzle owns and runs the Chicago Ski Show.  I met one of the two owners last year and sent her some emails to improve the show.  They were very good at returning emails and they were really receptive to my ideas.   Really nice people.  The Chicago Ski Show is really great with the Ski Swap meet where you can get some killer deals and see lots of ski shops from the Chicago area.  They also run a nice auction at the ski show where you can get some great deals.  Last year I won two five day lift tickets to Killington that Jen and I will be using next week.  Most all of the displays have some type of give away at the ski show. 

The Ski Instructor’s everything page.  Information all about skiing better and getting lessons.

Peter Keelty’s site that gives reviews on skis.  They are the Consumer Reports of skiing.  No advertising bias in the reviews.

A guide to America’s Best Bootfitters.  Only the best bootfitters attend Master Fit clinics and go through the extensive training program to become certified bootfitters.  This site will guide you to a shop that is certified and fit you properly for your boots.
